This app makes it easy to view large transport maps on your iPhone or iPad. When you first launch the app, it downloads the latest version of the map from the web and processes it into image tiles. Please note that we do not provide any of the maps. By clicking on any of the links, you are downloading directly from the web and agreeing to the respective sites license agreement. This software helps you to store and load the downloaded copy to save repeated download time and costs.

You can also purchase our map packs to download other publicly available PDF maps and store them on your iPhone and iPad, and then use any time in the future without delay.

We believe that anyone with a smartphone should be able to have PDF travel maps on their device. We are working hard to help eliminating the use of paper for travel maps.

London City Maps - Discover LON with MTR app good for

Maps loading quickly and were responsive to the touch. The square-by-square animation seen when zooming was a little disconcerting, but I eventually got used to it.

This app was very helpful although it sometimes took several minutes to load a map.

This app is a great app for downloading PDF maps. The maps do take a while to download and I suggest downloading necessary maps before beginning an excursion. That being said, once the maps are downloaded, they load quickly and there is no lag in the zoom rate. This is a particularly great achievement, as most PDF app take forever when adjusting to a new zoom. I hope they bring this app to a global scale soon!

It is useful if you were trying to find your way around London or what Subway train route to take. Downloads are fairly quick, but the processing time of the PDF files is what takes the most time. The London City Guide 2009 took roughly 2 minutes to download, but 10 minutes to process. The map UI could be more functional; you should be able to drop pins and annotations on places like on Google Maps. There is plenty of room for improvement for this app, but it is still very useful.

Map looks nice. Takes a while to download files. I would like to be able to add destinations.

Maps take a little bit to download and load (even on wifi) but there are a lot of them that are fairly detailed. Nice idea and great implementation!

Some bad moments

Attention: the description of this program is not really clear! So all what you get is a collection of links to download PDF maps. I expected to get downloaded a real map! So the price for this does not at all deserve downloading. I am really frustrated.

This app is basically a collection of built-in links to various free maps available on the web. It downloads the PDF maps of your choice and then displays them. The map PDF viewer works well but where is the value? There are a lot of PDF viewers available. Why pay for free maps made by the UK government?
